Segnalazione problemi firmware PS3 v2.4

The recent release of the latest Firmware for the PlayStation 3 has done nothing to endear the company with some owners of the console.
On updating to version 2.4 of the Firmware a number of machines have been left dead with owners venting their anger via the forums.

We’ve received a limited number of calls from consumers experiencing an issue with installing the system software update on their PS3.

There’s not much you can do when you turn on your PS3 and that’s all that happens. It’s not like a PC where you can start ripping bits out or go back to a previous Restore Point. If this happens to you then Sony technical support is your best bet and hope they don’t need you to send it back. The more adventurous may want to try a homebrew fix, however.

From now on I am waiting a while before upgrading to new Firmware, it’s the only way to be safe. Also, Sony need new testing policies before releasing the Firmware as this is a major PR gaff that does it no favors with gamers and those considering buying their console.

meglio aspettarne anche 2 di attimi.. c'è più di una possibilità che ti fulmina la consolle..

stando a quanto dicono sul blog c'è un limitato numero di chiamate.. c'è anche chi non ha avuto problemi...
se l'hanno tolto dal download.. un motivo ci sarà.. io sulla mia non ce lo metto sicuro..

Gerri appena siamo sicuri che funziona, mi avvisi che lo metto su pure io, va bene? Io per 1 mesetto non mi fido di cambiarlo... tanto la play va uguale

anche alla mia già così come è non manca nulla.. non necessita di un aggiornamento..
in generale comunque, secondo mè prima di aggiornare il firmware è sempre meglio aspettare qualche giorno dalla data del suo rilascio.. è più salutare lasciare che siano gli altri a fare da betatester..
